Amrita Jhaveri is a specialist in twentieth-century Indian art. She was educated at Brown University and The School of Oriental and African Studies. In 1995, she was appointed by Christie’s as their first Indian representative and established auctions on twentieth-century Indian art in London. Since 2000, she has been actively building a private collection of art works from collections that have been exhibited at museums and institutions worldwide.
